The 2027 Wilson A2000 FPM23SS 34” Fastpitch Catcher’s Mitt is built for fastpitch catchers who want a lighter, easier-moving mitt with the size and control needed behind the plate. Designed to reduce bulk and help catchers work quicker, the FPM23SS brings premium A2000 feel to a 34” fastpitch catcher’s mitt made for receiving, framing, and all-game comfort.

This mitt features thinner pads along the pinky and thumb, helping reduce overall weight while encouraging proper glove posture. The lighter feel makes it easier to keep the thumb underneath the ball and snap the mitt back to a level position after receiving the pitch — a key piece of clean, confident pitch framing.

For 2027, the FPM23SS updates to a Dual Post Web, chosen to make the mitt easier to break in while still maintaining the durability needed for one of the toughest positions on the field. The Drawstring Closure uses adjustable rawhide laces at the wrist, allowing fastpitch catchers to customize the fit to their preference.
