The 2027 Wilson A1000 FP1620SS 12.5” Fastpitch Softball First Base Mitt is built for players developing their game around the bag. Its 12.5” FP1620 pattern features a Horizontal Bar Web with a Single Post design, creating a dedicated first-base configuration for fielding balls and receiving throws.

The Single Post construction works with a single break point, allowing the mitt to close in the same place after break-in and secure the ball consistently in the pocket. A Drawstring Closure uses adjustable rawhide laces outside the wrist so players can tighten and tie off the mitt for their preferred fit.

Handcrafted in the Wilson Pro Stock Factory, the A1000 combines soft Full Grain Leather with lightweight, moisture-resistant SuperSnakeSkin. DriLex Wrist Lining and Flat Finger Binding improve comfort, while Rolled Dual Welting helps the mitt maintain its shape.
