HITTING WITH THE 2020 EASTON ADV 360 - BBCOR Baseball Bat Reviews

HITTING WITH THE 2020 EASTON ADV 360 - BBCOR Baseball Bat Reviews 0

The 2020 Easton ADV 360 is a 2-piece composite bat that swings pretty balanced and will be best suited for contact hitters. In terms of swing weight, we think it swings pretty similarly to the DeMarini CF Insane and DeMarini Voodoo. We thought it was pretty refreshing to come across a 2-piece composite bat that wasn't so overly-balanced. The ADV 360 still had enough mass in the barrel and handle stiffness to hit the ball out of the yard, but a big enough sweet spot and light enough swing to impress contact hitters.

SELECT PWR vs VOODOO - 2-Piece Alloy Showdown - Louisville & DeMarini BBCOR Baseball Bat Review

SELECT PWR vs VOODOO - 2-Piece Alloy Showdown - Louisville & DeMarini BBCOR Baseball Bat Review 0

These are two of the most-used bats in college baseball and definitely fall into the "power bat" category.

While the DeMarini Voodoo has frequently been bucketed into the "balanced" baseball bat discussion.  This bat is quite a bit more endloaded than some of its counterparts like the CF Zen & Voodoo One - and is actually more comparable to the CF Insane in terms of its swing weight.  That's why we think they dropped the "Balanced" from the name in 2020 - and went back to simply the "Voodoo".

The Select PWR is widely accepted as an endloaded, power-optimized brute. Definitely a bit more swing weight on this one, but it made up for it with a very explosive sweet spot.
