Perfect Game Suspends Easton Hype Fire (30/25, 31/26, 32/27) - Press Release

Palm City, Florida - We were notified on Monday, April 8th, of Perfect Game’s decision to suspend the Easton Hype Fire -5 Baseball Bat, despite it meeting the standards and certifications as determined by USSSA (The Governing Body). This announcement was made without prior discussion or notification to Easton Diamond Sports, the manufacturer of the Hype Fire bat. It is important to note that this Suspension does not affect the -12, -10, or -8 Easton Hype Fire Baseball Bats. Furthermore, Perfect Game’s decision only applies to Perfect Game events.

This decision has no impact on customers and athletes who do not participate in Perfect Game events. USSSA, Grand Slam Sports, Triple Crown, Dynamic Baseball, or any other events authorized to use USSSA-sanctioned baseball bats are still legally permitted to use these bats.

If your Easton Hype Fire -5 HAS NOT been removed out of the wrapper and purchased within the last 30 days we are accepting returns with a full refund. Please email us at info@headbangersports.com or call 888-540-2287 and we will set you up with a return label.

As we receive more information from Easton, we will continue to keep you, our customers, updated with the correct information and future steps.
