NCAA Baseball Bat Rule 1.12.b (7) Change: White BBCOR Baseball Bat Ban Rule

Effective 9/1/2019 the NCAA governing body for College Baseball will be adopting a new rule which will ban the use of any primarily white BBCOR Baseball Bats.  This bat ban will not go into effect until the 2020 Fall NCAA Season and will only effect NCAA Baseball Play NOT High School or any other Leagues or Sanctions.

You can also follow the NCAA and NFHS BBCOR Approved Baseball Bat list to watch as it changed.

NO Grandfathered Bats:
As of now 7/9/2019 there will be no grandfathered bats. Companies such as Marucci, who's BBCOR Line Up has been primarily white for years, have created the same great products in a new Marucci Black Line.  These bats have been released and are available now to ensure all Marucci's faithful have products legal for play.

This Rule Does Not effect High School Players:
The NFHS (National Federation of High School Associations) will not be adopting this rule as of today 7/9/2019.  For now, all BBCOR certified baseball bats will continue to be legal and allowed for play in High School Baseball.

(If this rule changes we will ensure we update this here)
