2023 Marucci Fastpitch Softball Bats, Introducing the Echo DMND!

Shine bright like a diamond with Marucci’s all new Echo DMND! Coming in three different models, The 2023 Marucci Echo DMND ( All Composite One Piece), 2023 Marucci Echo Connect DMND ( Two Piece Composite), and the 2023 Marucci Echo Alloy ( One Piece Alloy). In today’s writeup we will be covering the main differences between the three types stated above, designs of each as well as all technical aspects of each bat. Note that there will be similarities with all three such as the knob and end cap but these bats vary greatly between each and each bat is designed for a specific type of player. 

The 2023 Marucci Echo DMND Fastpitch Softball Bat: 

The Echo DMND is a full composite, single-piece Fastpitch Softball Bat that boasts some Gold quality barrel design as well as a blingin’ colorway. Being a Balanced weight and feel, The Marucci Echo DMND is built more for the contact hitters. The one Piece construction of the 2023 Marucci Echo DMND is built of a composite material that requires NO break in time, this bat is HOT HOT HOT right out of the wrapper. Marucci’s new composite barrel design, called MDX Max Composite Material, is made up of “Multi-dimensional” composite layers which in turn, creates an ultra responsive barrel that needs no break in time. This new Multi-dimensional composite layering also creates an INCREDIBLE sound on contact making everyone's heads turn right toward you. The barrel also has another feature, a ring free design. This addition to the barrel allows increased flexibility as well as providing a large, very forgiving sweet spot.

Moving down the bat we come across a redesigned knob called the “Liquid-Gel Dampening Knob”. This knob is Marucci's newest anti-vibration technology which reduces and absorbs vibrations at a much faster rate and far more effectively than the previous AV2 knobs from Marucci. Marucci accomplishes this by designing the knob with precise amounts of liquid-gel situated in an open cavity inside the knob. This creates a smooth, solid feel during contact.

2023 Marucci Echo Connect DMND Fastpitch Softball Bat: 

Before we start on the 2023 Marucci Echo Connect DMND Fastpitch Softball Bat, we must note that there will be a lot of similarities to the above Echo DMND one piece. So for this we will break down the similarities so as to not be redundant, then go into what is different between the two, besides the obviousness of it being a two piece bat.

Similarities:
The most notable similarity is the barrel design! Utilizing the MDX MAX composite barrel as well as the ring-free design you'll have a flexible, ultra responsive, barrel that has an insane sound, is HOT right out of the wrapper and provides an incredibly large sweet spot. Alongside that, the Liquid-Gel Dampening Knob will provide a smooth, solid feel while absorbing shocks at a faster rate than previous models in a more efficient way.

Differences: 

Now, onto the differences! As expected with a two piece bat, the connection piece is one of the main differences between the two. Utilizing the OLS ( Outer-Locking System) Connection Piece, connecting the barrel to the full carbon composite handle from the outside in. This connection piece provides one of the stiffest connections available today providing some of the strongest, smoothest swings all while greatly reducing total vibration. 

Another difference between the two is that the Echo Connect DMND is slightly end-loaded, making it ideal for power hitters or contact hitters looking for a little more power, even younger hitters trying to build strength.

Introducing the 2023 Marucci Echo Alloy DMND Fastpitch Softball Bat! Super Balanced feel, lightweight build and offered in a -12 length to weight ratio, This alloy one piece bat is designed with the young beginner softball player in mind and is the perfect platform to develop proper fundamentals of the game. The Alloy material used on the 2023 Marucci Echo Ally has been specifically designed to provide the softest, most forgiving feel on miss-hits. The Multi-Variable wall design on the alloy bat features a ringless barrel (much like the other two above) with thinner walls and a larger sweet spot, creating a more flexible barrel and a higher performance standard to maximize your swing.
