Marucci Cat 8 BBCOR

Bought this for my son who is entering his first season in High School ball. First Marucci bat we have ever purchased and I will say it was a wise decision to go with the Cat 8. I studied many different one-piece alloy BBCOR bats (including the Cat 9, Voodoo One, Stinger Nuke, Easton B-5, LS Solo...) and the Cat 8 always came out on top after comparisons and studying reviews. He's used it in practice for the last 2 weeks and seems to really like it. It's been too cold and wet for them to have practice on field so far, so the feedback I'm getting is from indoor cage hitting. We will see how it actually performs on the field soon. But from what I've seen, we shouldn't have any disappointments with the Cat 8.
